About Us
About Us
Survivors HOPE provides services to survivors of human trafficking and interpersonal violence against identified girls and young women from ages 12-23.
We are driven to provide mentoring and linkage to community resources to support survivors.
Just as a seed needs the right sunlight, water, and nurturing to grow; survivors on their road to recovery needs the right linkages to resources to grow and thrive.
Our Founder
"Survivors HOPE is about the hope of survivors getting to a place of freedom; mentally, physically, and spiritually free. It’s about the hopes of a survivor, to thrive."
Daniela Deas
Founder and Executive Director
Meet Daniela Deas, a survivor and leader, who founded Survivors HOPE. Her journey of surviving, now thriving, from commercial sexual exploitation of child (CSEC) at the young age of 12 has led her to help others facing similar situations .
Determined to make a positive impact, Daniela took it upon herself to spark change. Her efforts paid off when she graduated from Broward College with an Associate of Arts degree, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s and Gender Studies (double major and minored) from Florida International University. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Social Work degree.
As a CSEC survivor, Daniela uses her own experiences to empower young girls who are similarly at-risk. Her mission is to encourage youth to take control of their stories, and to change their narratives from at-risk to at-promise for greater success.
